1. Who We Are

2. What Data We Collect

We collect no personal data. LeadPilot does not collect, store, transmit, or share any personally identifiable information.

Specifically, LeadPilot does NOT collect:

• Your name, email address, or any contact information
• Your browsing history or the URLs you visit
• The content of web pages you visit
• Your IP address or location
• Any analytics or usage telemetry
• Cookie data or device identifiers

3. How the Extension Works

LeadPilot reads publicly visible data from Google Maps search result pages — specifically the business listings that appear in the left-hand panel when you perform a search. This data (business names, ratings, categories, addresses, websites) is already publicly visible on your screen. The extension simply organizes it into a downloadable CSV file.

All processing happens entirely within your browser using Chrome's standard JavaScript APIs. No data is transmitted to any external server at any point.

4. Local Storage

LeadPilot uses chrome.storage.local (device-local, never synced) solely to store:

• Daily usage count — an integer tracking how many leads you have scraped today (for the free tier limit). This resets automatically at midnight and is never transmitted anywhere.
• License key (Pro users only) — your Pro license key, stored locally so you don't have to re-enter it. This key is not transmitted to any server.

5. Permissions Justification

Permission	Why it's needed
activeTab	Grants temporary access to the active Google Maps tab when you click the extension icon. Access ends immediately after scraping completes.
scripting	Injects the content script into Google Maps pages to read the visible business listing data from the DOM.
storage	Saves daily usage count and license key locally on your device (never synced or transmitted).
downloads	Triggers the CSV file download to your computer when you click "Export CSV".
tabs	Reads the URL of the current tab to determine whether you are on a Google Maps search results page.

6. Third-Party Services

LeadPilot integrates with no third-party analytics, advertising, or tracking services. The extension makes no external network requests.

Pro license purchases are processed through Gumroad. When you purchase a Pro license, you interact directly with Gumroad's platform. Please review Gumroad's Privacy Policy for information about how they handle payment data.

7. Data Sharing

We do not sell, rent, trade, or share any user data with any third party, because we collect no user data to share.

8. Children's Privacy

LeadPilot is not directed at children under 13 and does not knowingly collect any information from children.

9. Changes to This Policy

If we update this privacy policy, we will update the "Last updated" date above and post the new version at this URL. Continued use of the extension after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
